Connect Units with Assessment/Grading Variation Tool

Data for this report is prepared each morning using LMS data in the DW. The bulk of this data comes directly from D2L DataHub. The exception is the folder attachment data. This is gathered overnight via API. Masters are checked each evening and Offerings are checked as part of the link checking process.
Where the Master is identifiable (please report any inconsistencies), only the immediate parent is used as a comparison ie we don't check a Class Offering created from a Regional Master against the State Master the Regional was created from (maybe an extension to the tool would be to compare Regional to State Masters directly).
The following DataHub fields are checked/not checked during the comparison process:

Variations seem to fall into four categories:
Known Variation (eg. units setup for Gap or Accelerated Delivery)
QA Issue with the Master
Teacher Training (hiding of Assessments rather than relying on Release Conditions, or setting of Due Dates)
Other
Having a method of noting the above against each Unit would likely be of value.
