How to ensure AI use is compliant

Whenever AI outputs are used in resource development, there are some things that are required.

These are:

  • Have the material checked in its entirety by an SME for accuracy (as AI can hallucinate false information). This includes both text and images.

  • The material must be attributed (see Attributing AI for more information).

  • You MUST not include any personal information, TQ information, Student information, TQ IP such as Master product, learner guides in your inputs.

  • Users need check the terms and conditions of any AI tool used to ensure that the copyright in the subsisting output is assigned to the user of the platform and ONLY use tools that this applies to.

  • Use tafelqld email address when creating accounts for use of AI in development of learning resources

 

PLEASE NOTE:

It is not certain that any AI we use now will not need to be removed in the future, so if we are paying writers to produce original material for master product it is ideal that we receive original material not AI produced material.
