How to check copyright

Copyright applies to all original works and TAFE Queensland employees are required to abide by the Copyright ACT, 1968.

All material created by TAFE Queensland employees belongs to TAFE Queensland.

All material that does not belong to TAFE Queensland (known as third party material) needs to be identified and we must ensure that their use clearly conforms with a licence, permission or exception in the ACT and can be demonstrated.

TAFE Queensland purchases and can utilise the Statutory Text and Artistic Licence to copy and communicate certain amounts of text and images. Our use of this licence must conform to specific restrictions and requirements.
