Attribution for text used in assessments

Under the new amendments to the copyright act, the exception that allows the use of copyrighted material without permission in assessments specifically, now applies to online assessments where previously it did not.

This means that copyrighted material can be copied for use in online assessments without permission.

This also means that Section 113P does not apply and so the attribution of 3rd party material in assessments is different.
