CW Checklist

During your induction, we will work through the following information with you:

This covers the following in detail (demonstrate examples in Connect for all applicable to demonstrate what the final output is):

  • Document structure: Modules, pages, the associated styles to use
  • What to include in the content: text and copyright, images – demonstrate how to search and copy thumbnails from stock provider
  • Headings
  • Media
  • Discussions
  • Instructional Tables
  • Self-check Questions
  • Other question types
  • References

Demonstrate Connect interactivity example page, and any other industry or qualification specific resources (e.g. include any relevant Vimeo collections):

Clarizen

Go over the following sections on using Clarizen:

Detail what to do in which tasks:

  • Submit content to the Clarizen task called: “Develop Content
  • Submit assessments & Ed docs to the Clarizen task called: “Develop Assessments & Ed Docs
  • Log time for the induction in the CW induction task.
  • Explain what will happen in the ID storyboard phase: that the CW will be contacted by ID via Clarizen etc.

Explain boundaries for casual claims:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Between the Hours of 9.00am – 5.00pm
  • Minimum claim of 2 hours
  • A minimum ½ hour break must occur after 5:30 hours of work
7Assessment and Ed Docs

Emphasise that assessment and ed docs must be completed using the SPOT templates, no exceptions. Demonstrate the SPOT page (links provided below).
Also explain that while OPDU can advise on the technical aspects of assessments in terms of Connect, the content and compliance of these documents is not within our area of expertise.
Put the CW in contact with the relevant people to advise on the compliance aspects of these documents.
