Announcements
There should only be two announcements per unit offering; a ‘Welcome’ announcement and a ‘Educators Please Note’.
Welcome announcement
All units MUST have a welcome announcement that includes a replace string-based link to the Overview page. (HTML is supplied in the Appendix).
The announcement should be modified by the educator to include relevant information; but the overview and Getting Started links must remain.
Educators Please Note announcement
This announcement should only be seen by educators and facilitators. This is achieved by applying conditional release conditions.
The announcement is a reminder for Teachers and Educators to set up their unit and that they are required to complete updates to the Overview page including updating the Unit Study Guide.
Teacher Contact Widget
The teacher contact widget is found on the landing page. Its settings are controlled at Organisation level. Its goal is to provide a point of contact to learners. As Educators are added to a delivery offering their names will appear in the widget. Delivery teachers will need to ensure their Connect Profiles are up to date for the Widget to work accurately.
