The Course and Placement Hub is a combination of the standalone Course Hub and Placement Hub.

It contains everything from both standalone Hubs but has modified landing page announcements.

Connect is the Learning Management System (LMS) which will provide you with a central online place to access your course resources and your teachers. 

Most of your course materials are provided for you within Connect. Your teacher will notify you if any part of this course is to be studied offline and if any other resources are required e.g. textbook purchase.

This Course and Placement Hub will give you all the information you need to get started with your course. Go to the 'Content' link in your navigation bar above to find out about studying at TAFE Queensland and studying in Connect.  

The Overview page contains information about your course, and each unit you have access to in Connect will have additional information about that specific unit within your course.

Your teacher will use this Announcements section on the landing page of this Course hub to share any information for your class group.

Please Note: 

Relevant qualification and regional information needs to be inserted once the framework is cloned out for the specific qualifications. 

This hub is an interim master until Placement Hub masters are created by the Product Portfolios.

Insert the following information before releasing the hub to the teaching team. Please liaise with the relevant Product Lead for the required information. 

  • Qualification Information - Insert the specific qualification information relevant to placement (Refer 122 TMP B)

  • Employment – Insert the customised Employment Confirmation Form applicable to the qualification

  • Pre-Placement: Update the description, delete/add items on the list as required. Be sure to remove the red text. Hide modules not required. Update any as modules as required, look for and remove red text

  • Working with Children Check – Add regional specific information if required

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check – Add regional specific information if required

  • Work Placement Student Logbook

  • Attach the logbook for students to download as/if required
