The Draft Assignment Check is added to the framework via secondary import to provide learners the ability to submit drafts of an assignment for plagiarism checking prior to submission.

The Draft Assignment Check Module is only required when an assignment requires submission of an assignment for Diploma level or higher qualifications. For Certificate IV or lower qualifications, it is at Product Lead/ PLC direction.

The module has three sub-modules:

  • Access Turnitin

  • Tips for Using Turnitin

  • Academic Integrity

Access Turnitin

This sub-module contains standardised text student instructions available from the Appendix of this document.

An Assignment is added to the sub-module called Upload Draft Assignments this has standardised instructions to students available from the Appendix of this document. The assignment has no grade assigned, is assigned to the Assignment Category Draft Assignment Checker, Unlimited files may be submitted and all submissions are to be kept.
